On Apr. 17, 2025, La Jolla Institute for Immunology (LJI) welcomed supporters to a fascinating installment of our Life Without Disease Seminar Series, featuring Assistant Professor Miguel Reina-Campos, Ph.D.

Dr. Reina-Campos shared his lab’s recent advances in understanding how specialized T cells move through the body to target tumors. His research shows how we might develop cancer therapies that destroy tumors with extraordinary precision. After the presentation, guests enjoyed food, drinks, and live music in LJI’s Atrium.

Our next event in the Life Without Disease Seminar Series will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, and will feature groundbreaking research led by LJI Assistant Professor Daniela Weiskopf, Ph.D. In the meantime, we welcome you to explore the latest discoveries, revisit past highlights, and stay connected at: lji.org/events.
